With only eight weeks available for project completion, the schedule demanded fast but precise execution.

ParkLaine delivered a turnkey refurbishment, stripping back the existing welfare areas and rebuilding them to provide separate ladies’ and gents’ facilities alongside all‑gender toilet and changing rooms. The design incorporated durable, easy‑to‑maintain finishes, efficient layouts to optimise flow and comfort, and an inclusive approach to ensure all staff, regardless of gender identity, felt welcome and catered for. Delivered on time in eight weeks, the result is a modern welfare zone that supports the wellbeing of DS Smith’s staff, aligns with the company’s sustainability and quality standards, and enhances the working environment at the Ely site.
