DS Smith’s Blunham facility required an upgraded welfare area that would reflect the company’s commitment to sustainability, employee well‑being and operational performance. The space needed to deliver modern locker rooms and toilet facilities for both male and female staff, ensuring high standards of hygiene, durability and comfort. With only nine weeks allocated for the delivery schedule, the project demanded careful planning, coordination and speed, all while minimising disruption to the site’s ongoing operations. 

ParkLaine delivered a turnkey welfare‑area refurbishment solution at the Blunham site. The existing facilities were stripped back and refitted to provide new ladies and gents locker rooms and toilets, built with careful attention to creating a fresh, functional and welcoming environment. Fixtures and finishes were selected for durability and ease of maintenance, and the layout was optimised for both staff convenience and operational flow. With the tight nine‑week timeframe fully adhered to, ParkLaine completed the project on schedule and to high standards, giving DS Smith a re‑imagined welfare area that supports staff wellbeing and aligns with the employer’s values of sustainability and care.
