Planer Ltd Building 3

ParkLaine Ltd partnered with Planer Ltd, a company with a distinguished history since 1973 in designing and manufacturing storage and preservation equipment for hospitals, research laboratories, pharmaceutical companies and the IVF industry.

Faced with rising demand for their market‑leading products, Planer needed additional manufacturing space within their existing premises. To free up floor area for growth, they chose to relocate their office and workshop‑based staff into an adjacent building space, and engaged ParkLaine to carry out the full interior design and fit‑out of this new facility – an assignment covering 9,500 sq ft with a 13‑week timeframe.

The Brief

Planer Ltd required a high‑quality fit‑out to deliver office accommodation for their staff, a showroom to display their innovative equipment and a warehouse/workshop facility to support manufacturing and logistics functions. The brief included the construction of a mezzanine floor to create larger first‑floor office spaces, breakout and meeting rooms. Additionally, the building required new windows on both levels, and a covered walkway between the adjacent buildings to maintain functional connectivity and staff circulation. The challenge was to deliver all of this within 13 weeks to minimise disruption and enable Planer Ltd to expand their manufacturing capacity.

The Solution

ParkLaine executed a turnkey fit‑out solution for Planer Ltd’s Building 3. The project comprised installing a mezzanine floor to expand first‑floor office space, designing breakout and meeting zones that reflect the company’s brand and culture, and delivering a showroom and warehouse/workshop environment tailored to Planer’s operational flows. The installation of new windows on both floors enhanced natural light and external presence. The covered walkway facilitated efficient transition between buildings for staff, supporting operational continuity. The result is a modern, flexible workspace which meets Planer Ltd’s requirements for office, showroom, and workshop/warehouse environments and supports their vision to help people globally achieve successful treatment outcomes and fulfil their dreams of having a family.
